Executive chef of Tom and Ed Martin’s acclaimed London pubs and restaurants, James is passionate about serving the very best in British cuisine.
Previously at D&D’s Avenue Restaurant in Mayfair, the acclaimed Bistroteque in East London and the world famous Ivy, James joined the group in August 2009 as Head Chef of The Well in Clerkenwell, ETM’s first venture. In 2011, James was promoted to executive chef of the group, responsible for all food operations throughout all their venues including the award-winning The Gun in Docklands, The Botanist on Sloane Square and most recently The Jugged Hare near Barbican, creating individual seasonal menus sourcing the freshest high quality ingredients.
James shares Tom and Ed Martin’s ethos in creating places to enjoy great food, fine wines, ales and cocktails to socialise with friends and family in a relaxed setting.
James’ next major project will be overseeing the launch of the group’s 12th venture, coming later this year.
