A fishing enthusiast, who has made a living with Framlingham Fisheries selling and working with coarse fish. Run Carp Fishers Abroad (25 years) for enthusiasts keen to catch giant carp and cat fish in France. Now 50, he is looking for alternative ways of fishing and fish to catch. He Operates a unique guiding service, offering adventure fishing in England, Ireland and New Zealand. England is lure fishing for bass and crazy wild river kayaking for pike and chub with surface poppers. Ireland is the current Mecca for bass and Max has been taking small groups of anglers there for several years enjoying fantastic fishing. He has led many happy pilgrims to this shrine. New Zealand offers rivers to die for. Kayaking, rafting and fishing, covering miles of river he is convinced there is no better way to visit NZ. Describes himself as an impatient angler, if he can’t catch a fish within ten minutes, he moves.
