A silver celebration of all that’s good about rural Scotland

Article written by 20 December 2012

2013 will be the silver anniversary of the Scottish Game Fair and organisers are already engrossed in shaping the best event yet.

Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2013 are the dates for next year’s celebratory event in the grounds of Scone Palace on the banks of the River Tay in Perthshire.

Fair director David Noble said:

“We are working hard to put together an extra-special show, both to celebrate the silver anniversary and to rekindle the spirit of the fair following the disappointment of 2012 when we had to unfortunately cancel two days due to heavy rainfall.

“Our trade stands, sponsors and visitors are incredibly important to us and we have been most fortunate to have retained much loyalty and kind support in the wake of the cancellation.

“Our organising team are buoyed up to deliver an extra-special Fair in 2013. We have a few surprises up our sleeve which will add to the party atmosphere and we look forward to welcoming visitors old and new.”
