Hot news about the Countryside Alliance Awards for 2012 – The categories will be broadly the same this year, but the good news is that we are introducing a “Start-up Business” category to encourage and support new rural enterprises.
So the categories in 2012 will be –
. Local Food
. Daily Telegraph Village Shop/Post Office
. Butcher
. Rural Enterprise
. Rural Start-up business
Nominations will open from the 3rd of September and will close on the 22nd of October and judging of finalists will take place between the 3rd of December and the 31st of January 2013 with a London Parliamentary reception for England taking place in March 2013 on a date yet to be confirmed.
