Article written by 20 December 2012

MR B J Du Brow from Norfolk is the very lucky winner of the 2012 Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Grand Grouse Draw.

As such Mr Du Brow is entitled to a driven day’s red grouse shooting for 8 Guns on Gunnerside Moor in North Yorkshire’s Swaledale – top of the Premier League of UK grouse moors.

This ultimate sporting challenge has kindly been made available by Mr Robert Miller. The prize also includes B&B for one night, with lunch and tea on the day. Accommodation will be provided by the Charles Bathurst (CB) Inn in nearby Arkengarthdale.

Draw co-ordinator Hugo Straker said; “Thank you to all those who kindly purchased tickets and we hope you will support us again. The funds raised directly benefit the GWCT and helps further our vital research.”

Planning for the 2013 Grand Draw is underway and details will be promoted when available.
