Living the high life – draw winner announced
Article written by Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust 20 December 2012MR B J Du Brow from Norfolk is the very lucky winner of the 2012 Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Grand Grouse Draw.
As such Mr Du Brow is entitled to a driven day’s red grouse shooting for 8 Guns on Gunnerside Moor in North Yorkshire’s Swaledale – top of the Premier League of UK grouse moors.
This ultimate sporting challenge has kindly been made available by Mr Robert Miller. The prize also includes B&B for one night, with lunch and tea on the day. Accommodation will be provided by the Charles Bathurst (CB) Inn in nearby Arkengarthdale.
Draw co-ordinator Hugo Straker said; “Thank you to all those who kindly purchased tickets and we hope you will support us again. The funds raised directly benefit the GWCT and helps further our vital research.â€
Planning for the 2013 Grand Draw is underway and details will be promoted when available.
