Celebrity farmer Adam Henson’s farm has been hosting the NFU’s roadshow this week as it ends another successful year on the road.

Host Johnny Ball is at Cotswold Farm Park for Let’s Talk Farming’s 100th appearance in 2012. During the year it has travelled 11,000 miles, with thousands of children and adults getting the chance to learn more about how their food gets from farm to plate.

The roadshow kicked off its year at the NFU Conference in February, visiting all the major agricultural shows along the way, as well as dozens of school visits, before spending a week at Cotswold Farm Park. Its last appearance is on Friday (30).

Adam Henson, Director of the Cotswold Farm Park and popular TV presenter, said: “We’re delighted to have been able to host the NFU roadshow at the Cotswold Farm Park. Visitors have really enjoyed learning about the NFU’s work and the demonstrations have complemented ours, underlining that everything we do is driven by our passion for British farming.”

NFU head of strategic communications Fran Barnes said: “It’s been another successful year for the roadshow, which has travelled up-and-down the country to entertain and educate thousands of people.

“It’s great that Adam has invited the roadshow and its presenter Johnny Ball to end the season on his farm.”
