A fine quality sidelock ejector built to a very high standard on a traditional square sidelock action. Fitted with five pin rebounding locks. Tastefully engraved in bouquet and scroll in a beautiful case colour hardened finish. The Monarch is our best selling Side by Side. Stocked in best quality walnut and hand chequered in the best William Powell style. Fitted into a hand made best quality canvas and leather gun case. Please note that whilst the side plates on the Monarch come colour case hardened as standard, they can be polished if required, so as to leave a 'bright' finish.


When you buy a William Powell Monarch you have the option to have the gun made to fit as part of the service. If you are unsure what your measurements are, why not speak to one of the William Powell trained gun fitters.

Due to current UK laws you have to be 18 years or older to purchase ANY firearm. Guns CANNOT be delivered to your home address and must be collected from one of our William Powell show room or a 3rd party registered firearms dealer*. When collecting your gun please provide a valid form of identification and your firearms certificate. If you require more information please call us on 01295 701 701. A 3rd party dealer can charge a small handling fee but this will be discussed when a member of staff calls you to confirm your order & collection.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your order or you wish to change it, we will gladly exchange or refund any unused items within 28 days of purchase. Just follow these 3 easy steps:

1) Package up the item(s) you wish to return, including the original product packaging, product labels and a copy of your original invoice.
2) Please include a note detailing whether you would like a refund or an exchange and the products you wish to order.
3) Send the parcel back to us to the following address:

If returning items from outside of the European Union, please ensure the parcel is clearly labelled "BRITISH RETURNED GOODS - RELIEF CLAIMED".

For discounted/sale items you must advise us that you wish to return them within 14 days of receipt.  They must then be returned to us within 14 days of this date.  This does not affect your statutory rights. Exchanged orders will incur an additional postage charge.

Faulty or Incorrect Item(s)

In the rare event of an item(s) being faulty or not what you ordered please contact us as soon as you receive the goods on 01295 701701 (during office hours of 9:00 - 5:30) and we will issue you with a returns number. Please then post the item(s) back to us, following the guidelines above.  We will refund the cost of the postage to the value of recorded delivery (we cannot refund additional postage charges above this) and we will organise the replacement or repair.
